Mirrors, counters, tables & more

Busy, Busy, Busy….just a simple word but it describes life at Green Oak recently.  We had our February sale last weekend—THANK YOU for coming out.  The weather isn’t the greatest again, but we are here and ready for you!

We’ll start with the mirrors first.  Big and Beautiful describe these 3.  We have one that has been painted white, one in oak finish and not sure what we will do with the 3rd.  It has gorgeous columns.  Any suggestions?

Tables…well half-tables that is.  White, black and red.  Many to choose from.  Good for sofa tables, tv stands or entry way tables.

Our counters make wonderful tv stands, kitchen islands, bars or ???  Let your imagination run wild!  We make them with tin doors or tin fronts.  Some have 4 doors, some have 2.  Can have an overhang or not.  Don’t see exactly what you want?  Just talk to me and we can see if we can come up with something that works just for you.

Odds and ends.  We always have a few pieces that just strike my fancy.  We have a neat sideboard and matching blind liquor cabinet just in.  Nice black buffet with doors, coat racks made out of porch posts.  Plus new items are arriving daily in the new home décor section.  Lots of paper flowers---perfect those of you who don’t have a green thumb (I think I’ll get my wife some).

We have many things in the back that we are finishing up and will soon be on the floor. 3 harvest tables, counters and step-back cupboards.

We took a huge cabinet, cut it up and made these drawer units.

One Of A Kind Black Buffet with Top $495
Someone put a homemade top on this neat buffet.  We put our black finish on both pieces.

Chicago Cabinet $1995
Another wonderful Chicago cabinet just in.  Measures: 66" tall, 77" wide and is 16" deep on the sides and the middle has a 4" overhang above the drawers.

You know the old saying, when the cat is away, the mice will play?  Well the boss, aka my mom, was gone last week so we thought we'd surprise her and our customers with a bathroom makeover.  My wife is now wondering why her bathroom is so boring at home. What do you think of the new look?

Busy, busy, busy

We've been busy at the store putting away the Christmas and re-arranging.  I wanted to share just a couple of "store views".

Our cabinets make great displays for stores.  Here is a nice example:

Do you like crocks and graniteware?  We have a nice selection for you.

Like a piece of furniture at the store but don't have room to take it home with you?  We can store it until you have a truck to pick it up.  But if you can't wait, don't worry, we can always figure out a way for you to get it home.

TV Stands.  These are now a stock item. Just talk to me about what color you'd like!

Blind door cabinet.  We will have 2 of these when they are finished. 

Collaboration at it's finest.  My sister and I designed this.  Very, very neat piece!

Before and after the paint job.  SOLD!!!  But we are getting more in both in a 3 door and 4 door design.

Have you missed me?  Whenever the boys are out of school, Terri gets time off which means she neglects my blog.  Never fear, I will be back in the New Year with great finds!

Look what I have for you...

It has been a busy few weeks here at Green Oak.  Let me catch you up with what I've been doing.

First, do you remember the desk from the last post? Here it is in it's refinished glory. Nice isn't it??

Next we have a GORGEOUS black harvest table.  Look at those nice chunky legs!  My wife says it is fine if I call these legs chunky.

Do you need a splash of color in your home?  How about a piece of stained glass.  We have a nice selection to choose from and here are a few of the new pieces.

 Do you need a buffet for the upcoming holiday meals?  We have them in black and white.  Here is a pretty black one.

If you prefer more traditional furniture, we have that too.  These Chicago buffets will make a wonderful statement in your home.  Plus they hold a lot!

Our counters are very versatile!  Use them in your kitchen, basement, bar, or for your plasma tv.  We have many in stock to choose from and you can always talk to me about a specific size you may need.

Are you in need of small pieces to finish out a bedroom?  Come in and see what we have.  This cute little black dresser is perfect for the guest room!
